Veterans Support

  • Raffle to raise funds for Veterans support is live on our website. Get your tickets there or through your council. The drawing will be on November 17 with payouts made the same night.
    • Tickets are $5 dollars each, 3 for $10 online.
    • Payout of $500, $250, and $125.

Veterans Committee

  • Bi-monthly New Hanover Veterans Council Report – next meeting on September 17.

  • October 19, 2026 Golf Tournament at Compass Point for Vietnam Veterans, applications available from SK Larry Greer if interested.

  • Beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, will take place on Thursday, September 24, at 2pm.
  • November 7 - Veterans Day Parade - Starts at 11am, line up at 9:30am.
  • November 14 - Exemplification on the USS Battleship North Carolina, our assembly to host.
  • December 19 - Wreaths Across America wreath laying.
  • Report of SK Knoll - Participated and completed the 55 mile walk for Suicide Prevention

    • Knights supported UNC-Wilmington Catholic Campus Ministry with Sunday Mass Cookout. Rain did little to dampen the spirit at UNC-Wilmington Catholic Campus Ministry, where nearly 50 students and friends gathered for Sunday Mass and fellowship at the Newman Center on campus. Each Sunday at 5:00pm, Fr. Greg Anatuanya celebrates Mass at the Newman Center, providing students with an opportunity to worship, connect, and share in the life of the campus faith community.
    • 2026 Fall Shrimparoo – Saturday, September 19, after the 5:00 pm Mass.
    • Saturdays – Men’s Group meeting at 8:00am, all invited 14-18 men, breakfast afterwards.
    • St. Joseph Pantry Activities
    • Every Thursday from noon till 4:00pm – food distribution
    • Third Tuesday of each month – St Joseph, Burgaw – we can use some help at 10:30am

    • September 26 - Bishop Luis Zarama will be elevating Fr. Steven from Administrator to Pastor. There will be a 10:30am Mass followed by a light luncheon. Honor Guard will be provided.
    • November 7 - 11am to 4pm Polish Festival. Set up on November 6.
    • November is our Recruitment month.
    • December 5 - Exemplification after the 5pm Mass.
